Google I/O 2016 is in the books – and a record 100+ GDG Aarhus devs were at the I/O Extended event to watch the keynote at our last meetup. Over the three day conference Google delivered a blur of news, updates, upgrades and visions for the future, and now it’s time to summarize and discuss all the main announcements – and how this effect us as developers.
Our featured speaker at this event is Filip Bruun-Bech Larsen, who is a Google Developer Expert in web technologies and the main organizer of the Angular Aarhus meetup series. Besides sharing his personal experiences and takeaways from Google I/O 2016, he will also give his “state of the union” overview of web frontend development.
Kasper Løvborg Jensen will pitch in with his favorite highlights from Shoreline Amphitheater and lead a discussion around what's new in Android and on Firebase/Cloud (We will also have a dedicated in-depth event about Android N and the new dev tools after the summer holiday!).
Event is in English and as always: free - including snacks and drinks sponsored by Google
